This one-day workshop will introduce basics of Ruby-on-Rails technology and guide participants step-by-step to have hands-on experience on how to programming with RoR, as well as to build a professional quality web application with social networking support in few hours of time.

Schedule (tentative):
9am - 10am : Introduction to RoR (presentation and discussion)
10am - 11am : Get going on RoR - learn installation & tools (hands-on)
11am - 12pm : Walk through RoR programming techniques (hands-on)
