What's the focus?
New Brunswick Innovation Forum 2008 offers a venue for innovative companies, investors, scientists and researchers to find each other so that more New Brunswick and Canadian innovations can reach the marketplace. The three themes for 2008 are:
- Health/Life Sciences
- Advanced Learning Technologies
- Energy
How does it work?
At this highly focused matchmaking event, 42 presenters (panellists) will offer the most innovative ideas and business opportunities to an international audience of 250 motivated receptors.
There will be two presentation sessions taking place at any one time. Each session will consist of seven panellists, each of whom will be given 10 minutes and 10 PowerPoint slides to make their presentation. The audience will consist of funding agencies, scientists and research organizations and company decision makers who will be there specifically to hear your presentation. Presenters may be looking for a wide range of opportunities including funding, collaboration and/or technology transfer.
Each series of presentations will be followed by a "Meet the Panellists" networking session. As a Panellist, you would be provided with a clearly marked station equipped with a laptop computer and wireless Internet connection where interested audience members can connect with you directly.
Great Value
In addition to the opportunity to make a presentation to a highly motivated audience of receptors, as a panellist at the New Brunswick Innovation Forum 2008, you will have the opportunity to attend:
- a pre-event coaching clinic to assist you in making the most of your presentation opportunity
- educational sessions open to panellists as well as audience members
- additional networking opportunities in the form of a breakfast, 2 lunches and dinner and coffee breaks
