Transetix GSI specializes in business process optimization and tools integrations for both consumers of translation and Language Service Providers (LSP). Our services include globalization consulting, business process re-engineering, translation technology integrations and workflow solutions through strategic technology partners. During his tenure he was key in streamlining and optimizing tools use, resources and process for the company. He joined BabelFish as a result of a merger between BabelFish and ARVISE Technologies in which he was the founder. His language industry experience spans 12 years which began with Nortel Networks as a globalization specialist.

Chris brings a diverse and unique skill set to Transetix, having been both a consumer and provider of multilingual services. His understanding of large enterprise development groups and multilingual vendors (MLV) provide him the ability to see the details while understanding the effects on the “Larger Picture”. This ability has brought significant value and solid ROI to the organizations within he has worked with during his career.

Chris sits on the Industry Canada’s National Language Technology Roadmap (TRM) Sectorial Committee and is co-chair of the Canadian TRM sub-committee on Translation. His contribution and collaboration with peers in the language industry helped in the creation of the new National Language Industry Association, AILIA. He is also co-inventor of “Method and Apparatus for Integrated and Automated Language Translation” (Patent pending).
